Body Cut Question
I am working on a 73 911. I have removed all the Schutz from the car. Here is the question, I need to replace a piece of the inner fender under the battery box. The holes are caused from the tie down being pulled out plus it is a bit moldy on the inside. Will a later model impact bumper style car work for this cut. The compound curves on this section do not lend to my limited skills to fab this section. And would prefer a quality finish look. I may even be inclined to remove the boxes all together. Since the car is going for lightweight. Please let me know thoughts on the cut. Thanx for the help.

You can take that bottom piece from a later car, it is not exact, but it will give you something to work withthat it is a lot easier than to fabricate the whole thing.

Thank you
Rudy Thank you for taking the time to check into it for me. I knew that about the bottom three inches would most likley work. Since they all (65-89) use the same suspension pan.
