Thinking of pulling a Gary Stratton...
 

I bought a used all FG early turbo wing with an integrated deck lid. The fitment is not great to say the least. Add to that a crack right where the wing curves in to join the deck lid and I'll be working this baby over pretty hard...

So, I saw that Gary Stratton in Orlando makes duck tails by mounting a FG duck on a metal lid. Was thinking I might attempt the same with my FG turbo tail. I had the same tail except with a rubber lip and it was FG mounted to a metal frame so I know it can be done... just looking for some advice before I make up my mind.

Maybe Gary will chime in on this with his knowledge as well.
