RSR rear brake/engine vents
HI,
I am working on a RSR clone. I have 11" rear flares going on the car. Occasionally, I have seen these with vents toward the front of the wheel flair that I assume is for brake/engine venting. Anyway, is this something that can be bought or is this strickly a fabrication project? Thanks, Tim |

Do you have a picture of the vents you are asking about? I have two steel round vent holes that I had fabricated several years ago, these were to be for a 964 widebody project like a flatnose 965. $300 for the pair. If you are interested send me your email and I will send pictures. jdorociak@gmail.com Jim

The 1974+ RSRs had that style flare.
The 73 had a smooth flare

Tim,
The above posters are correct. The '74+ RSR had 14" rear flares w/holes at the front (for brake ducting) and the rear. See attached pics of the 14" flare & brake duct from the GT Racing website: ![]()
