Rear liscense plate panel

I,m having a hard finding liscense plate panel for my 73 911. New panels are not expensive, however, they do not fit very well. Has anyone else had this problem.

I might be in the same boat. I have started on my 72 restoration and one of the panels I needed was the rear lic. plate panel, so I bought an aluminum reproduction one. Maybe I should check the fit before I go too far. I still have the original panel so I can check if there is any size differences. I'll let you know.

Have you tried the board classifieds? Think there are a few cars being parted out that would fit the bill. Also a license panel from a '71, I think. Not too sure on the differences there.
