Reinforcement plate on front pan

I'd like to know that the reinforcement is really necessary on the front pan? I restore my '69 911E, and on the old rusted pan there wasn't any. Now i replaced the pan but i don't know if i should put the reinforcements or not onto the pan...

Yes, you need to install those pieces.

They provide additional support for the attachment of the a-rms. Without them the threaded boss will twist in the metal and eventually cause the sheet metal to tear and fail.
