dent in my door

i had someone open there car door into my door leaving a nice crease (the paint is not cracked or chipped). Anyone have any ideas to fix? I brought to a dentless guy and he said because it is a cabriolet there is a bar in the door that prevents him from working from inside the door? Any thoughts on the best way and most cost effective way to fix?. My car is an 83 911sc cab??

thanks and no the person did not leave there name or number.

David

Thanks...I will contact them first. If I was to go the repair and repaint...Is this something that could be pulled out or would you cover up with bondo type material. Any suggestions on a good body shop down in lower fairfield county? Cost? the dent is only about 4-5 inches in length..but it is annoying to look at.

there should be now reason to mud the hell out of any job !!!!!!! if it's that bad then the panel would or should be replaced . because i can't see the car from were i'm sitting there would be no way to give any kind of a ballpark price .

Have a paintless dent removal specialist work on it first. My ding guy has done all kinds of work for me, even took out 3 inch deep, foot across dent out of one of my cars. In all of his repairs, you would never know the car had any ding or dent- flawless.

Try a "better" paintless dent guy... I just had a nasty ding removed from the swage line on my Mazda6 and was amazed at how well it has turned out.
