1989-90 Paint Code Sticker LM1U

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Does anyone on the Forum have a car with the color code (1989-1990) "LM1U" LINEN METALLIC? I really need a good, clear digital picture of the sticker so I can get duplicated if possible. Lost mine during a full engine bay detailing a few years ago.

I hope these work. I can retake them with a better camera if necessary.

You might want to go to my site and download a starting point template. I recreated a Zinnmetallic decal recently.

Although the font is different you might be able to use the border and part of the product code as a starting point. You could then try and get a suitable font for the actual color code info.

You can find the decal files here:

robdiver - your pics really helped! There is a PP member in Canada who is helping me get a replacement sticker as a service to our group!

project911SC - I totally envy your car, it was my 1st choice before getting the 89 951, but no regrets and would still love to have a 1989 911SC in Linen Metallic.

Thanks so much to the gents who found this thread and helped me on this search! :D

Good luck with it. I think the Linen Metallic is a really nice color!

This is a copy of the original color code decals I got done for my 968,the material is a little thicker then the OE one. Also a lot stickier doesn't crease easily & is weather prove.Got one in the cooker for __schmedes1_should be ready soon.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1327883477.jpg

That last pic is great Ernie! It shows exactly where the sticker should be located on late model 944 and 968s. Looking forward to the "last part" (HA) to make my 951 100% original stock -- albeit with some road experience.

If you are getting 1 sticker made, you might as well get 1 for me. The cost is all in the setup fee. Tell me what the sticker will cost.
