Body Panels compatability

I have an 88 930 coupe and was curious to know if all 911 doors are compatible from 1980 - 89 year model. Can a door from an 85 carrera fit onto a 88 930? Or is Carrera doors different from 930 doors? And different from year to year?

I know I'm having slight issues fitting 73 fenders on a 86 body. Not super hard but you can def tell the earlier cars were hand fitted. Curious to see what others chime in on the later cars.

from what i have found over the years is that the doors are like this 1985 and 1986 . are the same .

1978 and 1988 1/2 are the same .

1988 1/2 and 1989 are the same .

most of what you find are deferent is the things on the inside of the doors and how they bolt up .

because the 911's are hand built cars even if you take a part from the same year car there is no guaranty it will fit or just bolt right up and be perfect .
you also have to hand fit and build the car when you work on them .

How about sunroof clips? I have an 87 that will need a sunroof clip. I had a 68 that needed the sunroof replaced about 24 years ago and ran into all kinds of trouble.

962porsche would you know which are interchangeable?
