Zaino Brothers Products

I am a "newbie" and wanted to offer my experiences in regard to cleaning and detailing my p-car. I have tried many products, but the one I am most pleased with are the products from an east coast districutor named Zaino Brothers ( zainobros.com ). I have no other association with the company other than using their products and being completely satisfied. There is alot of detail sourrounding their product suite, so I encourage you to visit their site.

Might I suggest you do a search here on Pelican, Zaino is one of those products that gets people going, either you love it or could care less, there is no middle ground.I personally subscribe to the Porsche paint is different crowd, so what may work fanstatic on a GM or Ford or Honda may not be the best for a Porsche.I suggest that you find a car like yours, your color and your model, in other words, find a 87 Turbo just like yours and if it looks better ask what they use, go to a concours or car show.
Zaino has not been around that long so it is hard to find a Porsche owner that has used it for a while.OK.. if you haven't been able to tell by now, I am no fan of Zaino. For your 87 911 Turbo, I say you will not find a better shine for the money than a good high quality Carnuba wax and a good glaze or polish.A search will give you an idea of what is the most popular.
Good Luck
Chuck

Chuck, Thanks for you reply and I will certainly heed your advice. I got turned onto Zaino from a bunch of Viper guys in NY and they swear by it ! Being a "newbie" on this board I expect I'll learn alot from guys such as yourself. I have owned my p-car for about 3 years and was alwys a little skeptical about who and where to go to get the skinny on the car, and its maintenance. Now that I've been on this board a few short weeks I feel I can rely on the members to always point me in the right direction when it comes to anything regrding Porsche info !! Thanks again, and be patient with me cause I'm sure I will be asking alot of basic questions. I also oredered Wayne's book "101 Projects" and I'[m sure that will be a big help for me ! Thanks.....
