which is better to weld back broken abs plastic?

i have tried it a few times it's fine if you don't mind seeing the line of the crack thru the new paint.
it's all about how cheap you want to be with the repair and how picky you are about how it looks when your all done with it. |

Depending the size of what you are bonding. I used a soldering iron to repair a tab that broke off a headlight housing. It worked. It 's hidden by the fender so I didn't care what it looked like.
