356 drum brakes or 356 Disc Brake conversion
Hi all,
I have a 550 spyder replica build,and im on the stage now of choicing what brakes to use in front, i have an offer of 356 drum brake set 5 holes wide,price is bit high versus the Disc brake convertion from *********** site. Im asking your suggestions and opinion please whats the best to use,newbie here Appreciate any advice. Thank you |

upgrade to disc, with the wide 5 pattern. I have it on my A, stops on a dime.

Some people in the past have said the disc brake conversion offers too much stopping power
for the weight of the replicas, meaning it's real easy to "lock 'em up" with discs. Supposedly it's easier to modulate the pedal with drums. |

I have disc front drums rear. Dual master cylinder. Doesn’t lock up works like a modern car.

Disc all around is the way to go! Not a difficult installation/conversion...
