What is the deal with tool kits? Aren't they all the same? Do I have to get one made the same year as my car? Is this something I will need or is it a finishing touch? Is $200- too much?Figured I would ask before buying the wrong one.

If you are showing the car, then they become *very* important, especially for matching years, etc. Check http://www.356.ca/tools/
$200 is way under what a "real" kit is worth, and just a little under what you can get a incorrect repro set for.
