ID this hubcap?
Hi,
I bought a couple old VWs that came with a bunch of parts inside. Along with the VW parts was a set of Porsche hubcaps. I'm trying to identify them. So far I think they might be for a 356 based on pictures but it is hard for me to tell. I've seen similar hubcaps that have the "PORSCHE" letters written on the crest, but these do not have those letters. The shape seems right for a 356. Here is a picture of one. If anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it!

carlivar,
These hubcaps are for 356 "super" (S75 & S90) models. The standard 1600 (60hp) had 'baby moon' hubcaps very similiar in profile to the drum brake VW caps (without the VW stamp). The C's and SC's with disc brakes had the flat hubcap which is different again. Hope this helps, Cheers, Lisa |
