help out there..
does anybody out in 356 dom know of a cure for spark plug fouling.. i have a 356c with a 6 volt converted 67 912 motor. all stock as far as i know.... stock solex 40 pII i've tried every thing.. permatue"burned up" hotter plugs" float levels ,ect. any hints out there???? thanx |

norust, my 58A, 1600n has a similiar problem, mine is problably shot rings and valve guides or... My generator is not functioning, the car is now running from the battery, as the battery weakens, the spark becomes weaker and eratic, causing plug fouling and poor running. The car runs well with new plugs and a charged battery. My current project is to fix the generator, if that doesn't help the fouling problem, then I assume I need new rings and guides. You might check your generator for output.
