356 Engine up-grade

Greetings,
I just purchased a '69 12 motor to graft into my '62 356, that did not have a motor, (I do have the third piece from the original engine with the correct serial number to put on the new motor).
The 356 is still has a 6 volt system, and the original gearbox. Will I require a new
flywheel? I have not measured the diameter of the flywheel on the new motor, but I am guessing it is a few mm's larger than the bell housing will accommodate.
Also when I switch over to the 12volt alternator I am assuming I will need to change out the following list of parts:
Windshield wiper motor
Voltage regulator
All lights
Radio (not that important at this point)
Are there any tech articles you can direct me to that deal with the 12volt upgrade?

Thanks,
AV8TOR

Yes, you will need a 356 flywheel package. Size and teeth spacing on the 912 won't work for you. Keep the 6 volt starter motor - works good on 12 volts.

Add/change the starter motor solenoid to 12V.
