Gearbox Idenification help needed

Hello All

the chief engineer in work has a Sauter formula junior car that has porsche gearbox and brakes,

I am trying to work out what gearbox it has but have done a few searchs on the net and cant fine the code listed,

can anyone help?

the number's on it are

741.301.301.03 , I amsume these are the casting numbers on the case.

86 741/0 and 39605 these are stamped on to the case

The reason I ask is that we have tested and devolped some new gears for his race car,
New quick-shift dog-ring selector hub sets (Porsche type synchros). That are Direct replacement for synchro hubs.

And am wondering if they will fit in other porsche 4 speed gearbox's

here's a pic of the newly devopled gears

Many thanks

The 741 box is the last version of the 356 gearboxes. Post this over on the 356 Registry and you may generate some interest.
