Hi,I am new on the forum live in the united Kingdom,has anyone run a 48IDA on a 1600C 356,if so what is the recommended setting,i.e jets ventury etc,appreciate all inputs,I own a 356 speedster 1957,thanks

Yes, 48's are going to be too big, a good choice would be 40's with 32mm vents, most 40's have 28mm vents off the shelf, a bit anemic.
For other motor info and webbers you can try the 912 bbs 912 Board Regards Regards |

I've read the same thing, 48's too big.
I've got Nickies (not yet installed) oversize at 1900cc and imagine the manufacturer believes that even so 40's are good. My experience from my 1600 Fiat Sport Spider, suggests the same, I know it's not the same engine... Last edited by csimeon; 09-13-2010 at 11:04 PM.. |

I Tried to run '48's on a 356/1800cc built engine. Wayyyyyyy to big. 44's were marginal, 40's were great.
