Good Price - 1964 356

There is a 1964 356 coupe advertised for sale in the Minneapolis Star Tribune for $4500. It says that it has little rust and runs, but needs some work. The seller claims "good" shape. This sounds like it is too good to be true. Is this the right price, assuming that it needs a full overhal but is otherwise complete and in good shape? What should I look for? Is the 1964 more or less desirable since it is the last one produced? Thanks for any insight.
