356 741/2 Trany $3300
Hi, Folks. After about 30+ years of service I replaced this good, running 741 trany from my '63 coupe. It has been and is still a very good trany! I just wanted to put a 'correct' trany in my coupe. It is the early 716 case, but Factory-built as a 741/2. I had this rebuilt by Ted Blake here in Sacramento a few years ago and he made some upgrades to some of the later 741 parts (wider 1st or Reverse gear?). I purchased a later and correct 741 years ago for the coupe and finally put it in! This is a good trany and ready for a new home.....This is 'bolt in' ready out to the backing plates......Here are the numbers: Serial #37472; Type Stamped: 741/2 Date: '5 6'
Call or email: 916-425-8214c or jehardie@aol.com I might be able to deliver to some locals in No. CA, NV, Idaho.... And, yes, friends, those are cobwebs!! |
