Identify Tool bag
Can anyone identify what year this bag was from . Although I should remember !As I have it since . Also what would the proper tool style be for it. As I have several . I'm not looking to sell any at this time as I'm still searching for the rest of them and another basket weave type bag .

I believe two color bags are 911/912, one color is 356.

That bag is for 1968-69 911 tool kits. Basket weave bags are for 70-73 tool kits. I would like to buy the bag and any of the tools you are selling. Also I have a basket weave bag if you want to trade. If you need tools to complete your tool kit I have all the tools you need.
Thanks, Cem

Thanks, Cem Thanks ! Then it must be from the 68 Targa . I thought it may have been from the 912 So what type open ends would go with that bag drop forged steel or selected steel . Also what sizes ? Things have got out of place over the years for me |

First of all want to mention I wasn't even born when these tool kits came out, so all my knowledge is based on my online research and all the tool kits I have bought.
912 spark plug wrenches are different than the one you show in the picture, that is why I said 911 tool bag. The bag is correct for 68-69 912's also. Selected-Steel (not Selected-Special-Steel) wrenches were used in 912 tool kits only. Drop Forged wrenches were used in 911 and 912 tool kits. There should be five open end wrenches in a 911/912 tool kit. Hope the info helps. |

I looked in the original owners manuel it states the items there ,but not the kind . I'll have to post a plier picture but that may be a Mercedes item ,not sure . I need to find the other bag though as that's where the screw drivers should be , and who knows what more . |
