I, for one, do not get the safari builds at all. Seems like such a waste imo.

Back in 2003, we had like a meter of snow here in NOVA. Cars were stuck all over the place. Even SUVs. I put a set of 15s with aggressive snow tires on my one of my 911s and it became an amazing, unstoppable tank. So much fun I remember it like was earlier this morning.

Australian superlites, 15 X 7. I've had them for probably 10 years. I like the look and they only weight about 1 lb more the stock wheels.

I also did the same mirror mod as well as the gold PORSCHE lettering. I’ll post pix as soon as I get my motor back in to its rightful home. I’ll be extremely happy if it comes out looking half as nice as yours. I know this is a wheel thread but I’d love to see some interior pix. Or perhaps you have a build thread ?

I had a set of Braid Fuchs. The 9’s are et-3, where authentic Fuchs are et+3. I am not sure if those are original.

Not sure if your response is to my post but if it is the 15x9 Fuchs are original as I purchased them directly from Porsche.

Can I get some tire brands / specs on what you guys are running?

I have a 76 911S w stock fenders.

I checked tire rack and a few other spots. In reading over the PP forums I understand
selection is limited.
Thanks!
I have a 1977 S and currently running 205/60/15 on 7" wheels, posted earlier. I prefer at least 60 series tires for a period correct look. My next set of tires will be these.

My current 205/60/15. Yokohama AVS. They have been an excellent summer tire with a 160 treadwear rating. The Pirellis that I linked above are pretty close at 180. Lower the #, softer, and stickier, they are.

What width are your Fuchs? I have a narrow body 74 s and recently purchased 15x7 & 15x8 Fuchs. Front what I understand, the fronts should fit just fine but I may have some fuss with the rears. I am willing to roll fenders if necessary. Also wondering what tire I should run the rear.

My post just before the one that you quoted has my Fuchs size....15x7 on all four corners. My rears are rolled and 205/60/15 tires.
