One leak left! Please help me identify it!!

Hi Pelican,

I have one leak left on my 76 911S Targa. It seems to be coming from between the right side chain tensioner and valve cover?

If anyone can tell me where this is coming from I will give you a virtual high five!

Thanks!

Hi that is a lot of oil leaking. What did you do on the front leak if any work was done?
This could be your camshaft cover o ring or the 3angle gasket.Unles you just work on it?
The other culprit is on your camshaftoil line fitting to the camshaft housing the fitting it self is loose.
Right here is a alu.seal ..

Yeah that's a lot. If it's not the cam feed line, then another suspect is the back of the chain box cover. If you get underneath with a light and look up between #4 cylinder and the chain box you can see if the jb weld type stuff from the factory has worn away and the tensioner shaft is poking out the back. That kind of oil loss means a major hole like that.

It also sounds like you have an exhaust leak.
