So many great photos and footage coming out from this event. I made a video of me quickly walking through. I would have loved to stay longer and talk with more car owners, but maybe next time. Enjoy the cars....I did.

Ha! Thanks for the flyby on my car at 16:14.

The little banner decal was supposed to stay covered over for this event -- it's an inside joke for a friend this coming Wednesday at Willow Springs. But I guess it works in some fashion for the Luft show.

Anyone know how many people attended the event this year? It was massive.

I was a little worried about the venue and logistics to say the least. I had the 9am roll-in time and got right in at about 8:40am. Super stoked! They really did a great job, IMO.

Unfortunately I ended up with the worst spot in the show, but it was just luck of the draw. If I was 5 minutes later I would have been down the street in a much better spot. I throw events so the last thing I was going to do was complain and try to get moved

The venue was amazing. I wish I would have walked around a little more, but I was enjoying answering questions about the car.

Hi Jack,
I would have loved to stay and chat about your car and Willow Springs. I'm building a street track car, grew up around WSR, and can't wait to give it a go. I'm at least 10 years behind you and have a lot to learn.

My Talbot C3 was along the big wall. The pic below is after almost everyone left. That little service station was out of the public’s eye to the Far East past the 914 pick-up. They were taking pics with the cars as they rolled in. They stopped literally at me so I did it myself on the way out.

I have my luft visor tag that all of the display cars received.

I had a 10:00 show up time and was hoping for onsite parking which was a breeze there was plenty of space. The crowd for the tram was larger than I expected but from in line to at the event was about 40 minutes not too bad given the crowd. The venue was outstanding with loads of wonderful cars, good food and drink plus ample restrooms. I spent a couple hours then drove Angeles Crest on my way home...a good day.

Yep, don't complain. I can only watch all of this from a distance as the big pond is between Germany and USA (buhuhu).

One day I'll come over for Luft... and maybe meet up with some of R-Gruppe dudes (hey Dale, Erik!).
