Clutch and brake bleed order
I know the answer is buried somewhere on the archives, but I couldn't find it. Simple question: does it matter whether you bleed the clutch ('88 911) before or after the brakes? The clutch feeds into the reservoir on a separate line so maybe it doesn't matter? I would prefer to do it afterwards.
TIA!

I do it after. Suck all that fluid out much as you can and the brake process makes sure all that fluid is fresh.
Man that little 7mm fitting is a pita. Get a good flare wrench for it. Mine is a proto and seems to do well on these and the fittings on my 71. |
