I own a 1987 Targa with approx 167K on the clock. Comes with small oil leak and some blue smoke during warm up. No major engine work......yet.

78 targa 141,584
2 owners ago had it rebuilt, spent 7k did it wrong
previous owner re rebuilt it spent another 10k on that job
moved to cali and it was a 49 state car, so he had to sell it
bought it for cheap, fixed a split shifter shaft and it runs like new .
Never plan to get rid of it, hope the grand kids drive it one day, then again im only 20

I met the owner of this one the other month, 1980 with 420,000 miles and still ticking !

When the owner purchased the 911, it only had about 40,000 miles on it.
