993 Targa Top Rebuild

Help!!!
I need advice concerning rebuilding my Targa top on a 1996 993.
I can get a kit for all the parts but I'm not sure If I want to handle
the job myself. Instructions available somewhere?
Has someone out there gone through this before?

It's a start. I know I've seen a real good article on a top rebuild but I can't
place it.

If you have a mechanical mind, I say just dive in. Take stuff apart in sequence that makes sense. Along the way, taking reference pics is great stuff to have on the return trip. If you get stumped... there's always an answer somewhere. I rebuilt my '80 TTop bone up. Very entertaining. Of course none of that info applies to your 993.
