78 911 Targa will not run

I bought a basket case several years ago. The previous owner liked to take things apart, so just about everything on the engine was in pieces when I purchased the car.

The car is a a US version 1978 Targa SC with the 3.0 liter. Just got the car back together and the engine in the car. Is everything assembled correctly, I'm hoping so, but not 100% positive.
Car has a new fuel tank, new fuel pump, new fuel lines from front to back.
When I crank the car after sitting over night it cranks and runs for about 4 to 5 seconds and then dies. When it cranks it cranks right up and sounds like it's hitting on all the cylinders, but it runs such a short time, that I'm not positive. After it runs the 3 to 4 seconds it dies, and will not crank again, until it's been sitting for awhile, then it will run for 3 to 4 seconds and die again.
What I have tested.
After sitting all night, the fuel pressure is 38 psi, and after 4 minutes 50 seconds it goes up to 54 psi.
The AAV is open, and when power is applied it slowly closes.
I have spark when the engine is being cranked.
I disconnected a fuel injector and raised the fuel injector diaphram and have plenty of fuel squirting out the fuel line.
I don't have any residual pressure in the fuel system after turning off the key, so suspect my fuel accumulator is shot.
The fuel diaphram lifts very smoothly and easily, with no sticking or binding.
The airbox doesn't have any cracks and a properly sealed pop off valve.
After engine dies, I pulled a spark plug and it is wet with fuel, but doesn't seem excessively wet, as it would be if flooded, but not sure here.
I had problems getting the new fuel pump to work, found it was the fuel pump relay, I had to wiggle the fuel pump relay and pull it out slightly to make proper electrical connection. Pump has been running fine since I did this.
Do I have some small vacumn leaks possibly, but nothing I can find by looking with mirrors, etc.
I'm completely stumped, and out of ideas on what to check next. Sure would appreciate any ideas, or suggestions.
Regards
