964 RS America renovation starts here...
Hi Guys!
I'm taking on my biggest project this far, I'm buying a Porsche 964 RSA that needs some TLC to say the least. The body is in great shape, pretty much everything else except electric needs attention. I've managed to come across an option sheet for it and need some help translate everything. See picture, I know it's triple black with the m030 package which I believe all RSA had. But that's it, feel free to fill in. I'm gonna check the numbers out and state here what I find out. Pictures coming shortly on the rolling chassi, here's the options. Since I haven't really been a car guy that long I think I'm gonna hang around here pretty much, all help highly appreciated. Tnx guys, mixed emotions, but looking forward to it. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Porscher; 12-13-2016 at 07:04 AM.. |

I thought the RSA models only had about four or five possible options. Am I incorrect? Your list seems really long. You may have just found the four and are already done.

Also have a sunroof on the car, I'm thinking about deleting it, you guys have any thoughts on that? Last edited by Porscher; 12-13-2016 at 11:38 AM.. |

RSA's had black headliners. Here is my former car for reference photos: https://goo.gl/photos/ndKsAZfD9CuZ6Wpt5

Did the RS America's have a sunroof option? I would have though that contradicted the weight savings aspect of these cars. And yeah, I think a delete would be more emblematic of the RSA theme, not to mention the weight savings at such a high CG location.

My former RSA is in Europe now, or at least it was 9 years ago. My car? I don't think there are too many of them over there.

Yep, and agreed. I'm pretty sure you could add radio and a/c as well...

My vote would be to remove it. Do it right, by removing all of the associated structure and welding in another steel skin. JR |

You didn't ask but, given where you live, I would also remove the A/C. Together with the sunroof, these two options add back much of the weight that an RS America lost when compared to a standard C2.

Counterclockwise?

I'd leave the sunroof in as it's original and unique for an RSA.
