New Toy

A Porsche club buddy, and 911 owner, called me a couple days ago. He told me to swing by his house because he had something to show me.

So, the next day I pulled my 911 out of the garage and drove over to his house. Sitting in the garage was a pristine 2005 Ford GT! It was a one owner car with 1800 miles on the odo. Wow! 👍

He did not yet have plates on it, so the test drive will be another day. I know it’s not a 911, but a pretty cool ride none the less.

I had the exact same question for my friend. He did not really answer the question, but knowing him, it will be a “garage queen” with a few appearances at regional car shows.

Question: Does the average Ford dealer know how to work on these cars?

No, I believe there are certain dealers that have GT trained techs.
