Cool velocity stack suggestions needed!

I've recently become the proud owner of my first longhood car (a 1969 911T) with a 2.0 and Weber carbs. I've never owned a car with velocity stacks before and they just ooze old school cool to me. I've run into a serious first-world problem though... how do I get to look at these cool velocity stacks and keep the rain out at the same time?

I've searched this forum (and the internet) extensively but I haven't found a good solution. It seems that everyone with these nice tall stacks and little mesh covers on them must wait for a day with zero percent chance of rain to drive their car because I don't see how they do it otherwise. I've seen the K&N kit with the black rain-guard hat on it but you can't see the stacks at all and that stamped steel hat looks like the bottom of a lunch box. I also talked to the owner of PJ Motorsports that specializes in velocity stacks but he didn't have any answers.

Has anyone seen something worthy of a Porsche 911 engine compartment?

Someone makes rain hats out of a clear plastic, but there's no getting around the color of the K&N filters...without not running them.

Thanks guys. The clear covers are a possibility but I think I'm looking more for billet or anodized aluminum. Maybe this idea needs to be submitted to Rennline? Didn't they have a suggestion box at one point for new products?

You could run these to keep out rain + tea strainers. It means no proper filters of course.

That's getting closer to what I had envisioned. Something along those lines but preferably made of machined aluminum.
