930 Wheels and tires 15"

I have a 1979 930.

Currently has Fuchs with:

225/50/15 Rear
205/50/15 Front

I need tire recommendations. The car is not tracked and driven 3 seasons

I'm looking at Pirelli P-Zero Asimmetrico - but really need advice becasue most of the posts on the subject are out of date.

Also. all the literature shows these should have 16" wheels. Did they come with 15"?

It is a gray market car, were they possibly changed when federalized?

Thanks for the help.

Jeb

"79 930 would have normally had 7ET23.3 & 8 ET10.6 x16 w/ 205/55 & 225/50 tires but also could have been fitted w/ 6 , 7 or 8 x15 for winter use

If you want to stick w/ the 15s you might want to check w/ Tire rack for the sizes you want in an A/S tire, pickings are likely thin
