Oil Level Sender for After-market Oil Tank
Anyone know of such a thing? Putting my ex-racer back on the street and would really like to have an indication on the dash of tank level. All suggestions welcomed! Thanks in advance.

997 Carrera I know have a digital dipstick that looks adaptable, I can’t remember what GT3/Turbos of the 997 variety have but they might have something even better for adapting being dry sump. Might take some electronic circuitry in to adapt the signal outputs to a what a factory analog gauge wants.

Marc: Full Disclosure: It's a Vellios tank for a 914-6 conversion. The car is basically a 911 as all underpinnings have been changed, a carbed 2.7 added, Boxster front brakes. . . This thing that had been lightened and raced is now in the process of becoming an official outlaw. At the track, I was used to checking the oil level before each run session, but I don't think I'll be as rigorous now that it's going to be on the street. So, any steer towards a tank level indicator would be greatly appreciated! The reason this is asked here rather than the 914-6 side is obvious. We all deal with 911 engines all the time.
