antennea replacement
on a '79 targa what is the best way to get to the antennea, I want to replace with a power one? thanks jeff

I got access to mine by taking the front passenger wheel off- it gave me more room to work

I was able to pull my old power one out and put a new manual one in by simply pointing the front tires left.

Yes, really is a piece of cake. I replaced the manual one with a power one...easy. As said, turned the wheels left, and had plenty of room to work. Original power mounts were still there so I didn't need to fuss with additional drilling or mounts.
