930 Brake Pad Sensor
1987 brake pad sensor will not extinguish
4 new sensor harnesses plugged in but not attached to pads each sensor measured 0.7 ohms before installation body harness measured no resistance before sensor harnesses installed brake lights work Will brake light switches effect the problem? I have also disconnected the battery overnight brake fluid reser4voir full Any help is appreciated Thank you |

Im having the exact same issue on my 85. I notice its been a month since you posted the thread. Have you had any luck figuring out the issue?

I am too. I'm checking continuity for the whole circuit and will report what I find.

I found my problem. A pad sensor wire had pulled out of the connector. Probably over stretched when I was doing suspension work. I replaced the sensor and thw warning light goes out.
Two notes: 1. If you pull out the warning light assembles and unplug the connector, you can check overall continuity between pins 1 and 2 on the connector. This allows to check the wiring harness as well as the sensors at once. 2. The two brake warning lights are on with the ignition and go off with the engine running. I guess this is to test the bulbs.
