Make the air cleaner easy to clip together

It is so hard to to clip together the air cleaner halves especially the lower rear clip. When you have the right side cover off attach a 4 mm by 150 mm tie wrap to the clip. Put the cover back in position. The lower rear clip now has a big easily reachable tail that you can pull to the right to close the clip. It is still a tight squeeze to reach in from the right side.

Zip tie extension works for me as well!

A plastic bag over the forearm also helps with more easily getting your arm up past the AC lines.

Great tip! I normally have my son reach in there but he's 13 now.

Make the air cleaner easy to clip together

That is a good idea. My right forearm is always scraped up after changing the air filter (even with wearing a long sleeve shirt or some sorta protective wrap).

I always just get my arm soapy and wet as a lubricant to be able to shove it in far enough to get the the zip tie. Something easy to gab and tug on. And get a long and wide black zip tie. A white zip tie might show up visually.

It is one of my most hated tasks to do on my 911. Every 10,000 miles for me.

ABSOLUTELY !!!!

a tie wrap on that connector made it easy to clip the housing.
