Brian, where did you get your latches/door pulls? They look very appropriate. And are even locking, as well!

I did also a DIY for my 94 Targa. I didn't want a opening at top, I use it for the speakers, since I deleted them in the doors and rear shelf.
Here are some pictures. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is the same car I made the trunk liner.

![]() ![]() I’ve had mine about 15 years? Blue prints from a real seat delete storage shelf purchased at the German Auto Fest. I removed the doors due to the luggage strap mounts. I had to undue the straps to use the storage. Quicker access to store things. I mounted the Element extinguisher in each bin in case I need really quick access.

Here is my interpretation. I may tweak it more, as well as, smooth out the wrinkles in the carpet. I look forward to your finished product.

For the latches, consider looking at a marine supply store. The doors on that TRE kit are very similar to that on a sailboat. They would be good quality stainless to deal with the salt air and have really nice locking mechanisms.

So far I have removed an inch from both sides and it still doesn't fit. I will remove another 1/2 inch from each side and check the fit again
