As I said over TWENTY years ago, I really like Fishcop Blue (Arrow Blue) but my wife has a UA workout shirt in, what she says, is a dark periwinkle and I've thought that would make a great air cooled Porsche color (it's sort of bluish purple). The DWA917 blue is spectacular. Both my 911s have been Guards Red and I really am done with that color.

Mike,

Have you tried the Rennbow website? https://www.rennbow.org/

You can search for all shades of blue: https://www.rennbow.org/color-wiki?m...ch=1&go=search

I think Alaska Blue Metallic (a 914 color), Azure Metallic, or Gemini Blue Metallic look close.

Mark

I'm still searching for my first Porsche that I sold in 1978. I purchased the 1972 911-T coupe in Wiesbaden Germany September 1971. It had the Albert blue paint with beige interior, the vin number ended near 150. The last location I know of was in Sarasota FL.
Interested to know if it's still around.
