There are lots of opinions and threads on the topic.

My preferred is this one made by Gearwrench. It's ~$20 most places.

I like it because it has some sophistication to eliminate most of what can go wrong or lead to swearing;)

sorry for the misleading title, it should read spark plugs and not glow plug (I am a RC airplane/heli guy, our engines have glow plugs)

The above GearWrench spark plug socket is fine. Try to minimize the number of parts that can separate under the fan shroud.

+1 for the gear wrench tool. I use it with a flex head ratchet.

Bought this same one from a German tool dealer on the web. The tool works really well, especially for Cyl #3 and #6.

It was $45 (included DHL international shipping) and got it shipped stateside within 5 days. Price went up about $6, and shipping is much higher now.

I’ve bought many a German tool via Amazon.de over the last few years. The only catch is sellers that ship internationally, when they do the tools with shipping are still cheaper than buying here in the states. I’ve done this for many Hazet, Gedore and Stahlwille tools.

Good tip! I'll keep that in mind next time I go looking for some tools :)
