the two most popular options are a) Griffiths (which updates/improves the factory system) https://griffiths.com/ and b) classic retrofit (which replaces much of the factory AC system with electric components -- https://www.classicretrofit.com/collections/electric-air-conditioning.

There are a LOT of posts on this forum about each - happy Griffiths customer here

I'll second Darrin's input. Can't speak to the electric AC but from my personal experience with Charlie Griffith, nothing but praise for him, the products he offers, and the meticulous instructions he provides. Add the support he provides and the whole Griffiths "program" is amazing.

This.

I have zero first had knowledge of the electric system. I have 11 years of very happy experience with the Griffith's system. I have seen other 911 drivers with the Grifffiths system and they love them as well.

Cold air in the worst possible conditions it just a wonderful thing. My wife is happy to ride with me anywhere with a AC system that simply works, and works great after over a decade of many long trips and many tens thousands of miles.
