SCAMMER ALERT!! Please read! ESPO RESTO

Hello All,

I have been on the forum before to alert the Porsche community, but many are still falling vicitm of Laurina Esposito of Espo Resto, John Espositio Porsche Repair and Women in Porsche (WIP).

I am including a link started by the Woman In Porsche. This is an organization created by Laurina, that is stealing and doing fraudulent activity within the Porsche community.

https://rennlist.com/forums/general-porsche-discussions-forum/1279509-alert-women-in-porsche.html

I encourage you all to let the community know, especially those involved with WIP. There are still many women (worldwide) that are paying Laurina with membership fees.

There are countless people that have been effected by Laurina's web of lies/deceit. It is time to put this to an end before more fall victim, and lose money to her.

I am happy to direct any woman that are involved in WIP, to the appropriate parties.

Thank you, Alex @ Restoration Design Inc.

Alert: Women in Porsche & Laurina Esposito

Hallo passionate Porsche friends!
The Women in Porsche organization cancelled a women's retreat around the LA Auto Show in which we were to attend. The founder, Laurina Esposito, of Esposito Restoration in LA still brought 2 cars to display but cancelled the retreat and after many attempts, has not refunded our money. We all paid 4 figures for this event.

You definitely dont get a reassuring feeling when you do an online search for her name. Especially after seeing "bankruptcy" in August and prior judgment against her in small claims court.

And the deeper you dig, the more disturbing it gets

I cannot believe they are still conning people. Hopefully the person will get involved to seriously shut down their operation. Steer clear do NOT give them your car or your money.

Yes. An LA Event that many women paid for (via paypal). The event was cancelled and no money was returned to the countless women that paid for it. Not chump change either. Cost of the event was $1600/person

Good luck. It only took CA 15 years to bust Wayne Kreiger.

Encourage everyone in the Porsche community to untether yourselves from Espo and get the word out for others to do the same!

Look on Instagram and see how many people are still associated with that shop

NEVER give a bodyshop or mechanic money or a deposit up front and do your homework, get three estimates on any major work and then make a decision...

Notice.

Quick update. I took my car out a few weeks ago and have been calling and emailing them to get some items that they owe me (a lot btw).

I drove by this morning to see what is going on and it appears that they got evicted for either non-payment of rent or judgement/lien against them.

I hope everyone who had their car there can get it out as it's not going to stop there based on what I'm being told.

Didn't they move and reopen once prior due to a similar event?

Yes. It’s their second location after Varna. My attorney did a ton of research at one point. The amount of liabilities over the years is pretty staggering.

It really is. Their fraudulent business practices have been discussed here, and many other places for quite some time. Amazing that anyone would still trust them.

Amazing that they can still find a place to operate from. Those renting the properties should be notified about the previous evictions for lack of payment of rent.

It’s in the public record. If the landlord does a credit app. , like they should, it will show up.

I believe they rented the current space under the name of their painter, not Laurina or John. It also appears they use the name "Espo" now instead of John Esposito Porsche Restoration. That probably didn't show up on a routine check.

The eviction notice shows her name. Any decent lease app will check the signer and the business.
