Anyone interested in reading about Tractive Suspension should look at Johannes Van Overbeek's article in the September issue of Excellence Magazine. He doesn't mention it by name but the cars in this article are running Tractive. I building a narrow body backdate that is similar to Project Karl. It has Tractive coilovers and will run a 16 mm front Sway bar, no rear sway bars. This is the recommended setup from Smart Racing based on the testing they have been doing.

Johannes has also mentioned the system in previous articles. I am 100 percent convinced that this is the best setup for a street car and is the perfect solution for Proct Karl which is why I am doing the same thing on my project, only much slower!

Project Karl is a great-looking build that was done in an amazingly short amount of time. A job well done!

Heck of a project, it really came together as a concept/package.

How difficult was mounting up that center cooler? I've already got a ruf front bumper and need some extra cooling, considering adding a CSF up front. Did you have to cut the tub at all? What'd you use to actually mount it?

Not sure how much room the Ruf bumper has, but this is the cleanest front cooler install I have seen, which will work with any front bumper:

A stock Ruf bumper has room for a small B&B 5 1/2 X 2 1/4 X 20 w/o a tube cutout but not the big B&B

not sure about the CSF sizing

Yeah, I don't have this ability haha. Trying to determine if there's room behind a ruf bumper to mount a CSF one without much work.

Issue we had with the CSF was that the fittings come out at an angle. This can create interference with some bumpers. Other coolers, like Setrab, have a straight exit which can provide more room, depending on mounting and bumper.

The B&B that I have is the same, I used a heavy hammer to modify the corner of the tub for clearance.
