Fuel pump question

Is there a specific fuel pump for an 83 row or are they the same as the USA version?

Which fuel pump is the best option (not most expensive) unless that’s the best option.

Thanks

The pumps are all the same from 80-83.
The fuel line uses an external check valve that differs from the 77-79
The earlier ones used a different banjo fitting so it doesn’t fit the later fuel line.

Porsche Parts numbers, taken from Porsche Parts catalogue for 911 SC 1978-1983:

911 608 102 00 Fuel pump -79
911 608 102 02 Fuel pump 80-

So it's the Bosch 0580 464 126

Box includes a new check valve also! Should urgently replaced together with the pump to prevent any further engine start issues (hot and cold!):

My original fuel pump in my 80SC had the internal check valve. When the internal valve failed many years ago I just added an external one.

Afaik do the Pierburg pumps contain an internal check valve. Boschs depends on the type of the pump and car's model year, but as the Bosch 0580 464 126 is a replacement for all SCs they go with the external check valves now. Makes also sense if only the check valve goes bad to replace it.
