Value of the cars too high. Don't want to drive What difference does that make? It could be worth $1mm, but who cares if you paid $30k for it. Stupid anti-logic. East cost traffic jams There are no traffic jams in rural Upstate roads Price of gas too high. 250 miles. 20 mpg 12 gallons $60 worth of gas. A few years ago it would have been $40 of gas. If you can't afford an extra $20, sell the car, you're broke Covid on the rise This is not a trip with a shared charter bus Driving your own car is the theme here. Need vaccination proof? Gullible anti-vaxxer says what ? Car probably in the shop That's why there is 2 months notice given People don't drive them in the winter. It's 50 degrees. Tires not the right season. Then don't drive like an idiot Only 15-50w oil. Need lower weight oil 15/50 is good down to 15F degrees. Only insure for 1000k miles a year One million miles? The entire drive is 250 miles. Had to ask the wife for permission Can't help you there. Spineless is a terminal condition

Not sure what I’m driving yet but prob the winter company workhorse seal gray Turbo cayenne with Pa dealer plate. If you need anything Jason will be at the shop today, we moved for those who don’t know , and are about 30 min from Barryville. Have fun.

It was a great drive! Thanks Dave for organizing this and everyone else who participated and made this a great event. We made it home to get to watch the end of the first half of the Argentina - Mexico match (let’s go Argentina ;-) )
I’m attaching some pics here and will be uploading others into my instagram (porsche_touring). Looking forward to the next drive!!! Marcelo ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Dave: Thanks for keeping this ride going.
- It was a beautiful day to ride, see some familiar faces and just talk Porsche. - To Our navigator : I think his name is "Joe", Blue Cabriolet Turbo: he did a great job keeping the pack together and going in the right direction. It made for a stress free drive. - Hope to see everyone again next year. |
