Suspension comparison

Old and new visual suspension comparison.

The Tarett sway bars were adjusted the following way: 1-5 [5=hardest setting]

Front: 3.5
Rear: 4

The widebody/wide tires really bend the nearly stock suspension. It's even giving the current hardware a workout.

I've always loved your car, Kyle. I have to say, I'm a bit surprised that you were running 22/29 with stock sway bars with so much rubber under it. I always assumed you were running heavier torsion bars along with some form of aftermarket sway bars.

My skinny little '72 is running on 22/29 torsion bars and Tarret sway bars front and rear. I have my sway bars adjusted right in the middle on both ends. Shocks are red Konis adjusted 3/4 stiff. Handling is very neutral (for an old 911 anyway). It does work that suspension pretty hard, though.

Here it is exiting 3A at Pacific. Tires are 205/60-15 AO48's:

I know, I know...one hurdle at a time! Finally got around to updating the TB's and SB's last winter and the brakes to the Brembo kit. I think I should've went a little stiffer on the TB's. too. I need to get the shocks adjusted this Spring as well. I mean, it felt 'ok' in the car until I saw a pic of the lean! Wow! I figured I could improve the handling a bit.
