Heater control panel wiring question

Hi guys,

I'm in the proces of (re)installing my heater control panel but I'm not sure where this wire should go.
On the picture I took during the disassembly it looks like the wire should go to the glovebox switch but it's hard to tell.

This photo of the panel is from ebay but the wiring seems to be the same as the one in my 73T

Thanks for your help.

I'm also wandering if someone could tell me the purpose of this strange black wire

Brown white goes to map light.
Strange wire is actually a lamp holder that indicates fan on.

Thanks Timmy, strangely previous owner had it connected to the glovebox door switch

Glovebox door switch controls the map light. If there is a switch go there.
Some years have door switches, others don’t.
