We made it 1300 kms yesterday across 2 provinces, 3 states, and of course an international border…
 We started out with snow (hence the dirty car) and wound up in the high desert.

It was a hell of show. You know, we all think of our cars as pretty sweet, pretty special, pretty one of a kind. Then we show up for something like this and the cars on display, just damn, are so special, so rare, so one of a kind that absolutely pushes our cars down the next rung of exclusivity.
That is until we leave the show and find our car the only Porsche on the road again, and the kid in the old beat up Lexus pulls up along side and his younger brother in the passenger seat flashes a thumbs up sign at ... my 996 GT3. Confidence restored. It may not be best of show, but it is mine.

Yes one issue that I made worse…
AC blower quit. I tried to open it up and shorted out the stereo amp wiring (supposed pro install of some ‘high end’ audio gear before I bought it with exposed fuses). It’s getting all ripped out and I’m going to buy one of the new Porsche stereos with Bluetooth, etc. if I have room in the budget. Been running really, really well. It will have been 2700 miles in about 5 days once this is done.
