question: I am hoping do add an inline AMP to the PCCM, I think it can do much better with bigger sound, anyone has any amp recommendations and how dod yall pull the power to the amp? examples will be nice to use as reference and install pictures too! To start with I have a 87 G body targa and the Porsche PCCM unit!

gotta Love Porsche!
background! my speaker sound was bad, ,pre so I was concerned that my polarity I messed up and/or I have wrong speakers connected. SO I spent the day taking all the speakers apart and inspecting them, I did se that my front speakers were wrongly connected to the back, .. but. the speaker wires didnt match, the back ones were right, but the front ones, were.. both were the same color, (brown & Black/white), at the foot well, they mysteriously changed to something else that I didnt know what! (there sure was no brown / black white) I sit there with a 9 v battery and a multipart and figure it but still didnt makes sense. guess what , the stipe wire (generally is a negative) mysteriously changed polarity in the footwell It became positive! again multimeter didnt lie.. so I went about giving colorful words to the past owner to butcher the wiring and I googled some and lo and behold, the gently manual said that the combination I had, was exactly what porsche did! they even changed the darn polarity in between! Man, I will continue tomorrow, this is a but too much! and its supposed to be a German car.. lol Wiring harness ![]() front wires ![]() ![]() back wires, these matched! ![]() ![]() the diagram of truth!
