Who is hosting this forum now...

Based on the 28.8k loading speeds, it not being secure, is this running on a workstation under someone's desk? I can't believe how slow this site can be at times, pretty sad.

I agree, it seems that the website will not load consistently. Many times it hangs and times out.

Same here.

While I appreciate the forum, it's definitely taxing on the patience.

Sitting in Germany I experience due to time zones every day at noon here a very bad speed of the forum here too up to complete unusability. I suppose they reboot the servers at that time which is in US basically either at night or in the early morning ...

works fine with my 9600 baud modem

seriously never had a problem with loading

something oddly appealing about an old school digital interface with the world.

InterWorld Communications apparently.

My Hayes 2400 bps seems to work fine unless someone picks up the phone to dial out.

Same here in France. Totally unusable at times, with over 30 seconds loading time or worse. It's actually more a no response or late response issue than a loading time problem. Once the site is responding, subsequent page loading is quite fast, including embedded pics.

The forums are a marketing tool for the business. They will only do what’s needed to keep the business dollars flowing.

Back when Wayne first launched this site, God only knows when that was, but I had a different name. I used to access this site via a modem when at home. Now I have a blazing fast home network, and yes, sometimes it loads fine. Others, it's pretty much useless. It's not browser related, tried numerous when it hangs. Not my internet, cause no other sites have this issue. Anyhoo, it is what it is, I guess.

I’m seeing the page load delays and fails too. It’s gotten so bad that I give up and try again the next day.

I don't seem to have any issues. I've got fiber internet access, which is extremely high speed, so maybe that helps?
