My rough plan in the beginning was to do some ITB's. I was leaning towards Clewett or PMO as I like the sorta vintage look of their offerings. And I REALLY was thinking about saving my pennies for a Rasant ITB package that included a common plenum after seeing their red narrow body car at Luft7. But they later announced they were going out of business so I moved on. I'm sure the new Rasant offerings are bad ass as well.

But I think that after I first visited Adapt Motorsport website and saw what I could do with a single throttle body using 964 intake halves and their other bundle of products for DBW, crank & cam sensor, etc - I quickly switched gears. For me, having the simplicity of a single DBW EFI throttle body and what could be easier, or smoother, idle / low rpm operation - were two factors that I felt were good for my situation. I am not an EFI expert by any means, but it's working out well so far as I'm into this thing with about 250 miles. Just waiting to do valve adjustment and get it back on the road in the coming weeks when life slows down a little...
i think your way is one of the better solutions from CIS to EFI , plus it looks soooo cool !!!

Not as fancy as some here: 3.2 manifolds & a custom air intake on top of my 3.0SC case. If we ever pull the manifold off again I’ll source an amber fiberglass shroud to replace the red one.

Since these photos I’ve changed to a non-oiled filter + filter sock since this car sees some kind of dirt road on every rally 😎
