Love the amber engine shroud and tin.

All the bolt on goodies!
Seems like the perfect build for those new Swindon heads. If Porsche had build a short hood R they likely would have figured out 4 valve heads by the late ‘80s. |
what a great color choice thank you for posting here for us few non social media users

Jim,
Are those early stub axles? (4 bolt x 2 pin). Very nice work! Thomas |

Sorry if I missed any of this but,
What is the weight your targeting? What BHP/torque do you hope to have? Wheel/tire sizes? Keep up the nice work. |

Don’t really have a “target” weight in mind but my guess would be about 2200-2280?!? 993 3.6 with chip, headers, and exhaust 16 7/8 215/225 |
This project looks fantastic.
I've just done something similar starting with a 930 shell, 930 running gear, backdated to a 67R/73RSR hybrid and using a 993 varioram and G50 'box. It's just been corner weighted at 1050kg - about 2315 lbs. To the dyno next for a bit of a tune up, hoping to get around 300hp, so around 285hp/tonne or 7.7 lbs/hp. Cat delete, headers, cargraphics back box, 97RON fuel and a live remap by Wayne Schoefield. Already plotting stage 2 which should get me to 320hp/tonne without smashing the wallet too hard but that can wait a year or so. Want some time playing with it as it is first. |
